why need dock line?
- A dock line is what keeps your boat in place at the dock, so it needs to be strong and elastic (to absorb shock loads), as well as resistant to abrasion, UV rays, and rot. Typical Dock Line Arrangement. The powerboat is using double bow and stern lines to keep the boat away from the dock. The sailboat is using spring lines to prevent fore and aft surging, while the bow and stern lines “locate” the boats.

Great product, good quality and the bungee works well when stretching and as a strong rope when fully stretched. I recommend to use in combo with one regular dock line though.
