Incredibly fast. NVME is a significant upgrade when you can pick one up on sale!I’ve got other branded drives but trust Samsung the most especially if you pair a few of them up and run Samsung magician to keep firmware up to date.

I like this product. I do not dislike this product, except for the cost. However, free lunches are never free so i’ll leave that question be. I have used this product to store files. I have also used this product to read files from. It does both of these things very effectively and quickly.One suggestion to the Amazon Team: Please have a few prompting questions for written reviews, otherwise smart arses, like myself who are perhaps bored during COVID, will try to make funny reviews…. Hopefully this gets a couple of chuckles at least. It probably won’t get any ROFL or literary prizes. I would satisfy a primary teacher’s question on comprehension. Perhaps some points for persuasive writing, use of literary devices, and creative writing…but probably not…If you have read to this point, we who have written this review salute you. Have a great day and stop reading random review comments online. Just buy this awesome drive…

This Samsung 970 EVO 2TB is for business and so I took a conservative choice for the Samsung reliability suggested by a number of reviewers. This is for my new Razer Pro 17 notebook and yes, its for work not for play. Am not a gamer but do appreciate reliability. Easy to install and works well. The 980 recently came out and while this may be better (faster?) I liked the idea of the 970s history and speed for gaming is not of interest. I have used this for just a couple of weeks. All going fine and happy with the decision. Delivered very quickly.

Samsung 970 EVO Pro. Nothing more to say. 😁Super easy to install and lightning fast.If you have it in an external enclosure, just be mindful it will get very warm.Fast read and write speeds.Could be a little better price wise, but happy to have more space now, had a 256gb drive in my laptop.

Runs a little on the hot side even with a heat sink. Typically running around 50-55 which Magician says is high although the forums suggest my temps are not a problem and are typical for this drive. My previous gen Samsung drive ran several degrees cooler. The performance is insanely good regardless.

I can’t say anything bad about this storage. I’ve put it into a B550 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 3600.It’s so quick to boot. I installed it within seconds. It’s very good value to get Samsung Magician software to monitor it. It’s not necessary, but I like to have a look at what’s going on every now and then.

I fitted this ssd into a new Lenovo Legion 5 Pro as a second drive. It’s perfect for the job – even though there have been reports of companies like Western Digital and now Samsung swapping in inferior nand – for me this drive from Samsung works great. The product was delivered on time.

No complaints at all on this SSD. Plugged it in and it worked without any issues. Speeds are great and haven’t had any performance issues in the 3 months (at the time of writing this) that I’ve been using it.It’s also very convenient having it on the motherboard for space saving and cleanliness inside the case if that’s something that concerns you.
